CINE AWARDS


 The Nandi Awards are presented annually in Andhra Pradesh, India for Telugu cinema by State government. "Nandi" means "bull", the awards being named after the big granite bull at Lepakshi — a cultural and historical symbol of Andhra Pradesh. Nandi Awards are presented in four categories: Gold, Silver, Bronze, and Copper.


The ANR National Award is an annual award to recognize people for their lifetime achievements and contributions to the Indian film industry. 

 Santosham Film Awards is are one of the most popular awards given for Telugu films. The awards first began in 2003 by the annual Santosham film magazine which was started by the editor and publisher-KONDETI SURESH(which started in 2002). The awards felicitate all of the technicians and actors for their contribution to Telugu Cinema.

The Raghupathi Venkaiah Award is an annual award introduced to recognize people for their lifetime achievements and contributions to the Telugu film industry. Andhra Pradesh State Government incorporated this prestegious award in 1981 in the honor of Raghupathi Venkaih Naidu, a pioneer of Indian film industry. The winner of each year will be felicitated and presented a Golden Nandi, a Gold medal, citation and cash prize of Rs 50,000 at the state government's Nandi Awards functions

South South Scope Awards are the most prominent film awards given for Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam films and Kannada films in India. They are given annually to honour the best talents and provide encouragement and incentive to the South Indian film industry.
The awards, organized by the film magazine South Scope, and over 10,000 readers spread throughout South India participated in the polls; trophies were given to winnersof the popular vote. Awards will be given to both critically acclaimed and commercially successful films in 11 categories including best actor, actress, film, director, music director, supporting actor, singer, comedian, lyricist, debut and cinematographer. A lifetime achievement award will also be given away.

Lux Cinemaa awards are the most prominent film awards given for Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam films and Kannada films in India. They are given annually to honour the best talents and provide encouragement and incentive to the South Indian film industry.
Lux Sandal Cinemaa awards 2011 were presented by MAA TV. Awards will be given to both critically acclaimed and commercially successful films in 20 categories including best actor, actress, film, director, music director, supporting actor, singer, comedian, lyricist, debut and cinematographer. A lifetime achievement award will also be given away.


Vamsi International Film Awards were announced by Vamsi Art Theaters. P Vijay Babu (Andhra Prabha's editor) is     the chairman and Ramaraju is thefounder and president.
