The new Glamour 125 is the first ever global launch of the Hero MotoCorp company which was launched in Argentina earlier in the year. There are significant changes in the motor cycle which gets both cosmetic as well as mechanical revamps.One of the highest selling 125cc bikes in India, the Glamour continue to be offered in both carburetted and fuel injected versions.
The carburetted version of Hero Glamour will be made available in four color options -- Black+Sports Red, Black+Techno Blue, Candy Blazing Red+Black and Black +Tornado Grey. However, the last option will be missing in the fuel injected version.
The 2017 Hero Glamour gets a new forward inclined vertical motor with the horizontal cylinder engine. The new BS-IV 125cc engine is also said to deliver 27% more power to 11.5PS and 6% increased torque to 11Nm.
The all new 2017 Hero Glamour gets a much sleeker design with a revised trapezoidal headlamp that also features 'Auto Headlamp On'. The new split-spoke alloys look much more stylish and the bike also gets a bigger LCD screen.
Besides the new patented i3S technology saving fuel in traffic, the new motor claims to deliver 3% and 7% enhanced fuel economy in the carburetted and the fuel injected models respectively.
Other new features of the bike are LED tail lamp, a more contoured seat, and handlebar-mounted choke. The new Glamour continues with the same telescopic front forks, twin rear shocks, optional front disc brake.
