Chris Gayle recalled for the one-off T20I against India

West Indies have announced their 13-man squad for the one-off Twenty 20 International (T20I) against India which will be played on Sunday (July 09). They have recalled their swashbuckling opener Chris Gayle.

Gayle last played for West Indies on Apr 2016 in the World T20 final in Mumbai against England.


Lendl Simmons who has a poor run with the bat - 6, 17*, 15, in the recently concluded T20I series against Afghanistan is dropped.

West Indies full time Test and ODI captain Jason Holder has been rested for this one-off T20I.
