Brathwaite reported for suspect bowling actionWest Indies part time bowler Kraigg Brathwaite has been reported for a suspect bowling action after the first Test against England in Edgbaston.

Brathwaite bowled just six overs in the series opener in Edgbaston but did record the unusual figures of 6 - 0 - 6 - 0 !!


The match officials including Marais Erasmus and S. Ravi as on-field umpires, third umpire Chris Gaffaney and match referee David Boon, had cited their concerns over the legality of the action to the West Indies management.

Brathwaite can continue to bowl in international cricket for now but will however have to undergo testing within 14 days to check the legality of his action.

Brathwaite bowled just 192 over in his 38-Test match career. He has picked up 12 wickets in Tests with best bowling figures of 6/29 against Sri Lanka.
