England announce Team for Lord's TestEngland captain Joe Root today (Sep 06) has announced their playing XI for the Lord's Test, the series decider (3rd Test) against West Indies.

Toby Roland-Jones who missed out playing in the 2nd Test makes a return in the playing XI while Chris Woakes misses out.


West Indies have made a miraculous comeback in the 2nd Test beating hosts comfortably by 5 wickets at Headingly. The 3-match series is currently level 1 - 1 with the final Test to go at Lord's from tomorrow.

England have to win this final Test match of the series which will be a big boost for them before Ashes and a win at Lord's will also help them win the series 2 - 1.

Playing XI (Eng): Mark Stoneman, Stephen Cook, Tom Westley, Joe Root (c), Ben Stokes, Dawid Malan, Jonathan Bairstow (wk), Moeen Ali, Toby Roland-Jones, Stuart Broad and James Anderson.
