England captain Joe Root today (Sep 06) has announced their playing XI for the Lord's Test, the series decider (3rd Test) against West Indies.Toby Roland-Jones who missed out playing in the 2nd Test makes a return in the playing XI while Chris Woakes misses out.
West Indies have made a miraculous comeback in the 2nd Test beating hosts comfortably by 5 wickets at Headingly. The 3-match series is currently level 1 - 1 with the final Test to go at Lord's from tomorrow.
England have to win this final Test match of the series which will be a big boost for them before Ashes and a win at Lord's will also help them win the series 2 - 1.
Playing XI (Eng): Mark Stoneman, Stephen Cook, Tom Westley, Joe Root (c), Ben Stokes, Dawid Malan, Jonathan Bairstow (wk), Moeen Ali, Toby Roland-Jones, Stuart Broad and James Anderson.
