Annual Charity Football match to be played on 15th Oct

The annual charity football match this year between Indian cricketers and Bollywood actors will be played on 15th October from 7:00 pm at Andheri Sports Complex in Mumbai, as shared by the Indian cricket team captain on their Facebook page.

Abhishek Bachchan's charity 'Playing for Humanity' and Kohli's charity 'The Virat Kohli Foundation' are behind this initiative.


A team featuring Indian cricketers is named "All Heart FC" and team with Bollywood stars is called "All-Stars FC", the teams will be led by Virat Kohli and Ranbir Kapoor respectively.

Dhoni's love towards this game is known to everyone and was also shown in his biopic! Virat shared that Dhoni is preparing for this match already.

"Dhoni bhai is very excited about the match. He is already planning and preparing tactics because we are not used to of playing football in big fields," said Virat Kohli.

Last year the match ended in a 2-2 draw, but one moment stole the show when Virat Kohli and MS Dhoni combined with Yuvraj Singh to do a Barcelona-style tiki-taka.
