The Anti Corruption Tribunal of the board (PCB) found Latif guilty of all six charges.
"The job of PCB is to prove its allegations. PCB has proved six out of six allegations. When all the allegations have been proven, the responsibility is of the Tribunal to sentence," said Taffazul Rizvi, the board's legal advisor.
Shahzaib Hasan and Nasir Jamshed, too, are facing similar charges while former fast bowler, Mohammad Irfan, was banned for a period of six months in addition to a fine of PKR 1 Million, for his failure in reporting the approach to the PCB.
In February earlier this year, the PCB had carried out investigations following which they found that both Sharjeel and Latif were part of a syndicate which was believed to have attempted to corrupt the second edition of the PSL.
